Our Counsellor
Kathryn Sales
Life can bring unexpected challenges, and Kathryn offers compassionate, grounding support to help clients navigate them. She takes a collaborative, relational, and supportive approach to therapy, drawing on her integrative training to tailor support to each individual. Kathryn enjoys working creatively and flexibly, helping adults and young people find different ways through difficulties at a pace that feels right for them.
Her work often involves exploring past experiences, understanding how these show up in the present, and gently looking towards the future. She has experience working with a wide variety of clients, including those who have experienced trauma (including childhood trauma), relationship difficulties, anxiety—including health-related anxiety—and other personal challenges.
Kathryn is a registered member of the BACP and is committed to working ethically and professionally. She values open dialogue and sees the therapeutic relationship as a partnership, where clients are met with warmth, curiosity, and respect. She provides a safe, non-judgemental space where clients can speak openly, feel heard, and begin to make sense of their experiences. Kathryn is also happy to work with faith where this is meaningful to the client, incorporating it into therapy if desired.
